Hi!
I noticed that the addresses show country codes instead of full country names (for example Canada is CA, and so on). Is there a reason for that? Most of the international mail I’ve received uses full country names. I found it a little confusing but I assume it’s not really a problem when mailing stuff internationally?
Another thing, when I click the “copy” address link in Relationship Manager and then paste the address where I want it, it will show the addressee’s name correctly but then each following line of the address has a lot of spaces in front of it which I would have to delete manually (see the pic below). That makes this feature hard to use.
This is the spacing I get when I paste the address in Notepad or other text editor (I removed the actual address)
And finally, maybe I just don’t know how to do this any better, but when printing address labels, I download the CSV file and then convert the rows with addresses into columns so I can easily copy/paste them and print them.
However, when I do that, I noticed every single data point (zip code, city/town, state etc) ends up separately on a new line. I’m assuming this is not really a problem when mailing things, but typically zip code and city or state tend to be on the same line. In that regard it seems that the address is displayed correctly in Relationship Manager.
Is this even important? Does it matter how addresses are formatted as long as all the info is there? I feel like I may be overthinking this.
