Widget Link On My Website Doesn't Go To Hello Page

After building my website, imagine my excitement to discover there is a WIDGET with coding and the brand art and the (almost) whole 9 yards.

Now, imagine my disappointment when discovering:

  1. It does not point to the main page w/ the Hello video, it points to the tiers
  2. It seems to have a large text block underneath it so that I can’t move it to the top of the widget line without this huge block of nothingness appearing below it.

HELP! Thanks.

Hi there, I’m a little confused as to what you mean. Can you provide some screenshots or links? This may be a thing that the kind of thing the support team will be able to help you with.

Here’s the link to my website. When you click the widget to Patreon (way down at the bottom), you’ll see that it takes you to the tiers page, not the welcome page.

Where you end up: https://www.patreon.com/bePatron?u=4855006&redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Fgrannypottymouth.com%2Findex%2F&utm_medium=widget

Where I want you to end up: https://www.patreon.com/GrannyPottyMouth

As for the extra space below, I moved the widget and took a screen shot, then moved it back to the bottom for aesthetic reasons. Interestingly, when I moved it to the bottom, but above the widget for “follow on socials” - the extra footer space did not appear. Could well be a function of HostBaby’s template and a non-issue for Patreon.

I’d like an option to have the widget (or a different widget) go to my main page, also. A Patreon employee actually said in one of their videos that they felt the main page had better signup experience, since it educates people on what Patreon is.
